About the Role
Rogue Media Network is looking for a creative, organized, and driven Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands digital storytelling, thrives in fast-paced media environments, and knows how to create content that captures attention and builds audience loyalty.
The Social Media Specialist will oversee 4–5 shows across our network and work directly with on-air talent, producers, and sales to grow each show’s unique voice and presence online. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a show’s social strategy and treat each brand as if it were their own.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow social media accounts across multiple shows and platforms
- Work closely with the on-air talent to understand and maintain each show’s personality, tone, and branding
- Develop and manage content calendars and posting schedules
- Coordinate with editors and producers to plan promotional and episodic content
- Create engaging, scroll-stopping social content designed to increase reach and audience engagement
- Cut and produce short-form content including reels, clips, and promotional videos
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and audience behavior
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategies based on performance
- Assist in promoting YouTube content, podcasts, live shows, and network initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred
- Some experience managing social media accounts for brands, creators, podcasts, or media companies
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X
- Experience with short-form video editing and content creation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-starter mentality with strong creative instincts and attention to detail
- Sports knowledge preferred
