What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Special Education position at Rogers Public Schools?
: Supervises and administers all district programs for children with disabilities under the
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Ensures program integration with the other
instructional departments and state and federal requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree and at least five years of successful experience in Special Education.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Arkansas teaching license with Special Education endorsement and Curriculum/Program
Administrator’s license.
220 day contract
