Job Description

The QA/QC Level I role is responsible for supporting quality assurance and quality control activities on project sites. This includes assisting with inspections of mechanical systems such as HVAC and plumbing, documenting findings, and helping ensure work meets required standards. The role focuses on learning and applying established QA/QC procedures, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with senior staff and other departments to address basic quality-related issues.

Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)

• Assist in conducting inspections of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) under supervision.
• Perform routine quality checks and document findings.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of QA/QC documentation and reports. Identify basic non-compliance issues and escalate to senior staff.
• Participate in training on company quality standards, safety, and compliance.
• Support data collection for trend analysis and reporting.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Education, And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of QA/QC or construction experience.
• Basic knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ASHRAE, LEED).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on construction sites and collaborate with teams in various environments.
• Availability to travel as required to project sites or supplier locations.
