What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Laborer position at Rogers Lawn Care?
Rogers Lawn Care is looking for a dependable, hardworking Landscape Laborer / Weed Eater Operator to join our mowing crew.
The primary responsibility for this position will be weed eating/trimming, along with helping the crew complete routine lawn maintenance. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently and pay attention to detail.
Responsibilities
● Weed eat/trim around homes, buildings, fences, trees, landscaping, ditches, and other areas mowers cannot reach
● Use backpack blowers to clean sidewalks, driveways, porches, and other areas after mowing
● Assist with general mowing and lawn maintenance as needed
● Load, unload, and properly care for equipment
● Work outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions

● Dependable and shows up on time and ready to work
● Able to safely and efficiently operate a commercial weed eater
● Able to keep up with a mowing crew throughout the workday
● Takes pride in doing clean, detailed work
● Able to follow instructions and work well with a crew
● Comfortable performing physical outdoor work for extended periods
● Lawn care or landscaping experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider someone who is hardworking and willing to learn
● Reliable transportation to and from work
Location: Maryville, TN and surrounding areas
This is a hands-on outdoor position. Applicants should be comfortable working in the Tennessee heat and performing physical labor throughout the day.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
