Rogers Group is currently seeking aQuality ControlsupportingCarolina SMA, Greer, SC Upstate, SC.This position reports to the Quality Control Manager. The successful candidate will have strong work ethic, intuitive problem- solving skills and drive to meet the organization's needs.
Job Details:
Wages start at $21.00, Starting wage will be higher with verifiable experience.
Fulltime/Permanent
Weekend work may be required and overtime
Job Responsibilities:
Lift 50lbs frequently
Basic Repair of testing equipment
Compute stockpile quantities
Perform Field Test
Promote team atmosphere at location and across the division
Work with the sales team as needed
May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Driver's License with Clean MVR Required
Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Skilled in operating quality control lab equipment and testing materials.
Proficiency with MS Office applications or similar.
Ability to problem-solve and demonstrate critical thinking.
Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day.
Basic mechanical/repair skills.
Basic math and computing/technology skills.
Flexible schedule (split/ possible Saturday shifts).
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; be able to work on a team.
Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
Operate testing equipment and company vehicles in a responsible and safe manner.
Perform daily housekeeping operations and maintain a clean lab environment.
