Hopkinsville Quarry - Rogers Group Inc – Hopkinsville, KY
Starting pay will be set at $32 per hour. This includes a $27 per hour base and a $5 per hour shift differential.
Full Time Night Shift: 2:30 PM - 1 AM
Rogers Group is seeking a night shift Maintenance Lead for our surface operation located in Hopkinsville, KY. Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:
- Lead a crew of 3-4 safely and effectively.
- Identify and correct safety and production issues
- Routine equipment/plant maintenance and repair
- Operating various production equipment including fixed and mobile
- Involved with plant improvement projects
- Inspect, perform, and document daily repairs and maintenance on plant as needed
- Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Must have a dedication to safe work practices.
- Minimum of 2 years industrial or similar maintenance experience is required.
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work on elevated platforms as required by the job.
- Experience welding, cutting, and fabrication is required
- Experience leading a crew in safe work practices
