Mid-Shift - approximate shift times of 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Starting pay for mid-shift candidates is $27/hr. This includes a $23/hr. base pay $4/hr. shift differential. Pay will be determined based on experience. Experienced candidates are preferred.
Oldham County Stone is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking a mid-shift Maintenance Technician for our operation located in Crestwood, KY. - Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems.
- Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and other plant components as needed.
- Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment and structures.
- Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
- Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

- Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, manlift) as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and communicate equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
- Must have dedication to safe work practices
- Previous maintenance experience
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
- Must be willing to work a regular 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. shift
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
