- Day Shift
- TN River Sand & Gravel – Rogers Group Inc – Linden, TN
- Wages starting at $25.00/hr. Higher pay for skilled pilots with significant experience. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.
- Assure safe crew and vessel operations through use of Rogers Group safety systems and policies.
- Assure safe and efficient vessel navigation through compliance with the “rules of the road”, practicing good seamanship and boat handling skills.
- Comply with and ensure crew compliance with USCG and environmental laws and regulations.
- Delegate vessel responsibilities, duties, and tasks as needed considering crew members experience and abilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- At least two years of proficient experience operating commercial vessels – preferred.
- Able to operate vessel with precision and excellence in varied conditions.
- Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Possess all needed licenses and certifications.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
- Self-motivated - able to work without requiring close supervision.
- Must pass pre-employment drug-screening.
