Roll-Off Truck Driver (CDL Class B)

Job Summary:
The Roll-Off Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating roll-off hook trucks to deliver, pick up, and exchange containers at residential, commercial, and construction sites. Candidates must hold a CDL Class B license, have roll-off experience, and preferably have hook-lift experience. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical driving skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate roll-off hook trucks to service customer locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and professionalism, including weekly interior/exterior cleaning.
- Complete weekly greasing and routine equipment care.
- Accurately document routes, loads, inspections, and required paperwork.
- Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Operate a smartphone/tablet to use company software and apps, including navigation, job updates, and documentation.
- Follow all safety guidelines, DOT regulations, and customer site rules.
Requirements:
- CDL Class B license required (Class A a plus).
- Roll-off truck experience required.
- Hook-lift truck experience preferred.
- Clean driving record and strong understanding of DOT regulations.
- Ability to operate a smartphone and navigate company software/app efficiently.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time well.
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and secure containers as needed.
