What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Prep/Finisher position at Roem Automotive?
We are a Tesla Certified Repair Center looking for a full time openings for Automotive Prep/ Finisher in friendly and rapid paced company. We are looking for energetic hard working individuals to be part of our team. Must be able to pass a criminal background. Experienced only please!
Job Requirements and responsibilities include and not limited to:
- Assist Lead Paint Technician in prepping vehicles for paint
- Specific job duties include but are not limited to: prepping panels, masking panels, block sanding, mixing primer, spraying primer, cut and buff, minimal bodywork, mixing paint and mixing clear coat
- Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair
- Inspects, cleans, polishes, buffs, as needed, and details repaired vehicles for final delivery.
- Assists management with quality control inspections of vehicles prior to final delivery; works with management to ensure rework is minimized and completed in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
- Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts
- Regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and/or caustic chemicals - requires use of a respirator
- Moderate noise levels in this working environment
- Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Driver's License A MUST!
