Your role
- Perform machine set-ups and process changeovers in accordance with the production schedule
- Prepare, change, and adjust tools as well as relevant machine and equipment components
- Set and adjust production parameters in line with defined process specifications
- Start up and stabilize equipment after changeovers until defined process and product quality are achieved
- Analyze and resolve technical issues within the scope of the role
- Collaborate with Maintenance in resolving more complex technical problems
- Perform planned maintenance and servicing activities within the defined scope of responsibility
- Initiate appropriate actions in case of quality deviations in coordination with Production Leadership and Quality
- Document setup, process, and production data
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities (e.g., reduction of setup time, improvement of process stability, scrap reduction)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality management, GMP, occupational safety, and environmental regulations Depending on the site and technological environment, the role may also include additional responsibilities such as:
- Working with specific production technologies (e.g., injection molding, EBM, assembly, automated production systems)
- Handling advanced tooling technologies or complex automation systems
- Performing extended maintenance or servicing tasks
- Guiding or instructing other employees during setup and changeover processes
