Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep both the financial and administrative sides of a creative business running smoothly. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while also supporting our design team with general office coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, expenses, and general ledger entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and client billing
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with tracking project budgets and expenses
- Support payroll processing and month-end reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
Office & Studio Support:
- Assist with ordering materials, samples, and office supplies
- Help track and organize design purchases and deliveries
- Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries
- Provide administrative support to the design team
- Run errands as needed
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, BQE Core) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Interest in interior design or creative industries is a plus
