Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. As a Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting procedures for clients.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. You will work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data and assist with month-end close activities for clients.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must have a strong background in bookkeeping and be familiar with accounting principles and software. They must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. The Part-Time Bookkeeper will have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
· Perform bank reconciliations
· Assist with the preparation of financial reports
· Assist in month-end close activities
Requirements
· Minimum of 2-3 years proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role is required
· Solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts
· Proficient in bookkeeping software (Quick Books desired) and MS Office applications
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
