Reports To: Director of Production
Company Overview: Rodney Strong Vineyards is a family-owned winery based in Sonoma County specializing in high quality wines.
Position Summary: Manages all aspects of and activities relating to bottling operations and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the personnel that are responsible for line set-up, sanitation, operation, and routine maintenance of bottling line and supporting equipment/systems.
- Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures, working closely with the QA team.
- Ensure adherence to bottling schedule as requested by Planning Manager.
- Ensure that packaging and wine quality standards meet established guidelines.
- Interact with clients, executive management, peers, and subordinates in a calm and professional manner.
- Hires, trains, develops, motivates, rewards, and disciplines assigned staff as needed; ensures staff follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinate PM work with maintenance department.
- Ensure bottling staff are following all company policies, procedures and safety rules.
- Participate and recommend in acquisition of new bottling equipment.
- Have a working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when necessary.
- All other tasks as assigned by department Director.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate, five years minimum related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivation of a team.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Experience using Business Dynamics software or other ERP system to create and process bottling work orders.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with peers to ensure the best possible business results.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Salary: This is an exempt salaried position. $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. Company offers a bonus program, wine allocation, 401K, dental, and health.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Walk, kneel, bend and stand, primarily on concrete flooring.
Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
