Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage production schedules and resources to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements
- Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Lead and support production supervisors and team leads, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies; promote a culture of safety and accountability
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to resolve production challenges
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, scrap/rework rates, and labor efficiency
- Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and personnel to meet production targets
- Participate in capacity planning and workforce development to support growth and future project demands
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and work instructions
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as metal fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling tools
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in a custom or project-based manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as AWS, AISC, or ISO 9001
