Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Verify guest information, assign rooms, and issue room keys
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and billing accounts
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room changes using hotel management systems
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about hotel services and local attractions
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Upsell hotel rooms, amenities, and services when appropriate
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or hotel experience preferred)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with hotel reservation systems (e.g., PMS software)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
