Boston Rodeo is hiring friendly, reliable Ticket Scanner / Gate Staff for our two-day PRCA Pro Rodeo and music festival in Boston’s Seaport.
Location: 302 Northern Ave, Boston, MA
Dates: Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026
Shift: Approximately 2:00 PM–9:30 PM both days
Pay: $20/hour
Employment type: Temporary, event-based
What you’ll do
- Welcome guests and create a smooth, friendly arrival experience
- Scan digital and printed tickets at entry gates using provided equipment
- Help direct guests to the correct entrance, ticket-resolution point, or festival area
- Communicate clearly with guests and the ticketing/event team
- Flag ticketing issues or guest concerns promptly to a supervisor
- Remain attentive and professional in a busy outdoor event environment
What we’re looking for
- Availability for both event dates and the full scheduled shift
- Customer-service, event, venue, retail, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
- Comfortable standing and working outdoors for extended periods
- Dependable, friendly, and able to stay calm during busy entry periods
- Comfortable using a smartphone or handheld ticket-scanning device
- Able to follow event procedures and work as part of a team
Pay: $20.00 per hour
