The Big Task
Ensures customers’ accounts are current and accurate. Ensure accurate revenue recognition through review of work orders.
Key Sub Tasks
- Process daily check deposits by reviewing checks deposited by technicians in the field and posting checks received in the office
- Prepare bank deposits and scan checks.
- Process other customer payments, including credit card payments for deposits and final payments and Wells Fargo.
- Review and finalize paperwork from our field technicians to ensure we have accurate records for services provided to our clients.
- Process manual invoices for VIP customers and collect payments for customers with 30-day terms.
- Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions. Provide paperwork when requested.
- Engage management over any AR problems you encounter.
- Monitor aging reports and initiate collections on past-due accounts, which may include calling, sending demand letters, and initiating small claims court filings./
- Maintain service maintenance plans, including renewals, modifications, and cancellations.
- Maintain accounting ledgers as required, including an accurate aging report.
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Adhere to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably.
Desired Skills and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
- Advanced mathematical and logical deduction skills.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Experience with customer service and client communication.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
