We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a part-time, on-site role at our Pittsburgh, PA location. The educator will be responsible for creating engaging and age-appropriate learning activities that foster the development of young children, promoting creativity, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities also include building positive relationships with children and their families, maintaining a well-organized and stimulating classroom, and contributing to the community-oriented environment of Rodef Shalom Congregation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with children, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience in Early Childhood Development and creating age-appropriate educational activities.
- Demonstrated creativity and ability to design engaging learning experiences for children.
- Experience and passion for working with young children, fostering their growth and development in a nurturing manner.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain a structured environment.
- Ability to adapt to diverse needs and foster an inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Relevant certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Jewish values and traditions is a plus but not required.
