Role Description The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, Chandler or West Valley, AZ, responsible for managing escrow files from opening through closing. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing escrow documents, coordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders, and ensuring all conditions of the purchase agreement and lender instructions are met. The role involves balancing and disbursing funds, verifying and recording documents, overseeing signing appointments, and executing notary duties in line with state regulations. The Escrow Officer will maintain accurate records, follow compliance and company policies, and provide responsive customer service to all parties involved in the transaction. This position also collaborates closely with internal team members to meet deadlines and support a seamless closing experience.
Qualifications
- Experience managing escrow files and transactions, including Escrow and Closings skills.
- Ability to perform notarial acts and maintain an active Notary commission as required by state law.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication and client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Residential Real Estate processes, documentation, and industry practices.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple files and deadlines.
- Proficiency with escrow and title software systems and basic office technologies.
- Understanding of applicable regulations, compliance requirements, and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional real estate, escrow, or title-related training or certification is beneficial.
- Currently an Escrow Officer generating revenue with their own book of business.
