We are looking for a Paralegal who will assist our lawyers by providing administrative support, assisting attorneys with day-to-day office operations, and supporting litigation activity.
Responsibilities of the Paralegal :
Drafts, proofs, and edits correspondence, agreements, and other work product
Maintains attorney calendars, schedules consultations, meetings, events, conferences, and trainings
Assists attorneys with litigation process including pleading review, filing, discovery, and trial preparation
Maintains and manages correspondence, pleadings, court logs, and files
Review and draft routine legal documents
Create and maintain case files
Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines
Conduct legal research
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Paralegal :
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required
Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, CLIO
Paralegal certificate preferred
At least one to five years of litigation experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of legal language and principles, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters
Ability to maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion and good judgment
