Key Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and assist with payment processing.
• Accounts Receivable: Prepare customer invoices, apply payments, monitor outstanding balances, and assist with collections.
• General Ledger: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, research discrepancies, and assist with month-end closing.
• Billing: Process and review customer billing for services, training, and equipment sales.
• Payroll: Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping verification, employee pay adjustments, and payroll reconciliations.
• Human Resources: Provide administrative HR support, including employee onboarding and offboarding, personnel records, benefits administration, and maintaining employee information.
• General Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting, and support other accounting and administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous hands-on accounting experience required.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, billing, and payroll.
• Familiarity with basic HR administrative processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software.
• Experience with UKG Ready payroll and HR software.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a service-based business or similar environment.
