Job Overview
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities, enforcing security protocols, and responding effectively to incidents. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the property using surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor for suspicious activity.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate potential issues.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist with loss prevention strategies by monitoring customer behavior and preventing theft or damage.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as required.
- Utilize surveillance tools and CCTV systems effectively to oversee the security of the premises.
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors or staff as needed while maintaining a vigilant presence.
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or other emergency response training are preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats promptly.
