Duties

- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and value propositions effectively
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and receipts
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products attractively
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handle cash drawer balancing, and process returns or exchanges with professionalism
- Provide comprehensive customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, including cash register operations and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, and retail transactions
- Supervising experience is preferred for leadership opportunities within the team
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries and follow-up calls professionally
- Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and stock management
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
