Overview:
We are seeking a part timede dicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. We have part time kitchen openings. As a Kitchen Team Member in a FDA and USDA facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production kitchen and delivering exceptional high volume meals. Prior Food Service work is recommended cafeterial style woek line. Prior school cafeteria or university work will qualify for background on this position
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for assembly
- Assist in assembling and packaging various items under the guidance of the team lead
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Handle food safely and adhere to food safety guidelines
- Assist with receiving
-Assist with dishes and cleaning.
- Daily SSOP completion
- Support other kitchen staff as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with culinary terms and techniques
- Experience in production kitchen is a plus
- Basic cooking skills are advantageous
