We are dedicated to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information and are committed to improving healthcare outcomes through cutting-edge technology and a customer-focused approach.PositionThe Logistics Supervisor is a key leader within the Logistics Department and is responsible for overseeing evening courier operations to ensure the accurate, compliant, and timely transport of medical specimens. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role supervises Couriers and Lead Couriers, manages route coverage and scheduling, and supports both ground and air transport workflows.This role collaborates closely with Dispatch and the Day Logistics Supervisor to monitor tracking systems, resolve operational issues, manage air cargo handoffs, respond to vehicle emergencies, and maintain the safe and efficient movement of specimens throughout the network. The Logistics Supervisor also supports fleet oversight and serves as an auditor for logistics-related reporting, including Dispatch, Incident, Flagged, Error, and Delay reports.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, solutions-focused, and confident in leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.ScheduleMonday–Friday, approximately 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM MDTA 30-minute unpaid meal break is provided during non-peak hours.Flexibility is required to address operational needs before or after standard hours, including occasional weekend availability to support business continuity.This position includes both in-office and on-the-road responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesManage, assign, and oversee weekly schedules for Couriers and Lead Couriers, ensuring complete route coverageReview and approve timecards, time-off requests, expenses, and corrective actions in PaycomConduct regional meetings, team check-ins, and one-on-one coaching sessionsParticipate in interviewing, onboarding, and training new team membersSupport Dispatch with stop-related inquiries, operational issues, route optimization, and inefficienciesCollaborate with the Day Logistics Supervisor on specimen transport issues, delays, air cargo activities, flagged reports, and quality/audit needsAddress courier errors, route concerns, and missed or at-risk pickups with cross-functional partnersAssist with STAT runs, airport runs, and support stops as neededEnsure fleet condition, vehicle tracking, and maintenance needs are monitored and addressedMonitor handoff and cutoff times, adjusting routes in coordination with Dispatch as neededAudit logistics reporting, including Dispatch, Courier, Incident, Flagged, Error, and Delay reports, identifying trends and recommending improvementsMaintain safety, compliance, and professional service standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics ManagerRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years as a Lead or Supervisor in logistics, transportation, courier, or delivery operationsMinimum 2 years of courier or delivery driving experienceMust be at least 21 years oldValid driver’s license and clean driving recordReliable personal transportation with active auto insuranceActive smartphone with a sufficient data planStrong understanding of courier operations and logistics workflowsExcellent communication, organization, and time-management skillsStrong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detailAbility to run routes as needed and lead by exampleAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and move specimen containers or suppliesAbility to enter and exit vehicles frequently (up to 30 times per shift)Comfortable driving at night and in varied weather conditionsAbility to work in both office and outdoor environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Paycom or similar HRIS/timekeeping systemsExperience with air cargo coordination (flight bookings, delays, cancellations, handoffs)Experience with fleet oversight, maintenance tracking, or quality/audit reportingExperience leading multi-region or multi-state logistics teamsJob TypeFull-time, W2 (Salary, Exempt)Salary$52,000–$55,000 annuallyBenefits for Full-Time W2 Team MembersNew benefits effective January 1, 2026.Benefits begin 60 days after the first full month of full-time employment.Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (21 days annually for full-time team members)7 Paid Holidays401(k) with 50% Company Match up to 6% ***Health Savings Account (HSA)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability (RML covers 60% of STD premium) ***Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance100% Company-Funded Employee Assistance Program (EAP) ***Ability to Commute/RelocateDraper, UT: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)Ideal Start DateMid-December or the beginning of JanIf you meet the above qualifications and are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume for consideration.
