Qualifications for the Insurance Customer Service Representative:
- Property & Casualty Insurance license is preferred, or willing to obtain within 90 days of start date
- Customer service and/or sales experience is required
- Commercial Insurance experience is a plus
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Very strong interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities for the Insurance Customer Service Representative:
- Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow-up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
