Warehouse & Delivery Associate (Temporary Position | 1099)

Location: Rocky Mountain Furniture
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Saturday, with one additional day off during the week.

Temporary Position

This is a temporary full-time position created to assist our team during a busy period. Employment is expected to last for a limited time, though the exact length will depend on business needs. While there is no guarantee of permanent employment, exceptional performance may be considered for future opportunities if positions become available.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our furniture is handled, assembled, and delivered safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver furniture safely to customer homes.
• Lift and carry furniture weighing 100 pounds (with team assistance when needed).
• Assemble furniture using basic tools.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries.
• Follow directions and company procedures accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds regularly.
• Full-time availability, including Saturdays.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with furniture delivery, warehouse work, or moving.
• Experience using tools and assembling furniture.
• Background in construction, building, or related trades.

Compensation & Classification

• $16–$18 per hour, based on experience.
• Position is classified as a 1099 independent contractor.
