Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of electrical systems and components according to schematics and blueprints.
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues on construction sites.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
- Learn about the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigid conduit installation is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge in industrial electrician roles is advantageous.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with the job, including lifting moderate weights and standing for extended periods.
