Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, specifically with diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, and other essential components.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to align, fabricate, and service vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience as a service technician in diesel mechanics.
- maintain a clean driving record.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- work in a clean and organized manner.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
