What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intermittent Bus Driver position at Rocky Mountain Development Council?
Rocky Mountain Development Council’s Senior Nutrition & Transportation Program is seeking applicants for the position of Intermittent Bus Driver. This is an on-call, as needed, substitute position. The rate of pay is $20.00 per hour.
The Intermittent Bus Driver is responsible for driving and maintaining the bus for the senior transportation program. Responsible for assisting clients and handling emergencies within capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
:
· city streets and locations.
· some mechanical knowledge in order to recognize problems and be aware of routine maintenance.
:
· work well with senior citizens.
· keep all information on clients strictly confidential.
:
· equivalent to a high school education.
:
· preference given to applicants who have experience driving a 13- passenger shuttle and working with senior citizens.
· must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and update as necessary.
OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
