Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect copays/payments
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Assist patients with intake forms and office procedures
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
- Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, and referrals
- Process incoming faxes, emails, and medical correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage front office workflow to ensure efficient daily operations
- Perform data entry and update demographic and insurance information
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
- Support providers with administrative tasks and patient coordination
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Qualifications:
