What are the responsibilities and job description for the Denture Technician position at Rocky Mountain Dental Lab LLC?
We are a small dental laboratory located in Missoula, MT looking to grow and expand our team and business. Our goal is to become Montana's number 1 dental laboratory and we want you to help us achieve that. We are specialized in full & partial dentures as well as repairs.
If you have experience in a dental laboratory it’s great, but we are willing to train you in all areas required. You will work with materials like, wax, stone and acrylic.
Currently we are hiring a person who will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Pouring dental impressions in stone
- Trimming models
- Flasking (processing dentures from wax to acrylic)
- Articulation of models
- Pick up and delivery of cases
- Packing cases and prepare them for shipment
- Inventory of materials, ordering materials
- Taking certain phone calls
You will also have the opportunity to learn how to set up dentures and finish them which will give you the opportunity to make more money. We are willing to train you in this trade if we see that you are hardworking.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Be on time at work
- Detail oriented
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Friendly manner on the phone
- Ability to handle time pressure on cases with quick turn around time constraints
- Ability to keep a workspace clean
This is a full time position. Pay will be starting at 20$/h. If you have some experience in setting dentures and finishing them you will be payed based on how much you can produce.
