Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a local, family-run small business that brings smiles to our community with delicious treats every day. From premium chocolates and caramel apples to fresh fudge and dipped fruits, we create a sweet experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
We are currently hiring Summer Help – Sales Associates & Sweet Creations Team Members to join our team during this busy season. If you love chocolate, enjoy working with customers, and are looking for a fun, hands-on summer job, we’d love to meet you!
Core Responsibilities
- Elevate the Experience: Provide friendly, high-energy customer service both in-store and over the phone.
- Share the Flavor: Enthusiastically recommend, sample, and sell our signature chocolates and treats.
- Create the Magic: Assist in crafting our famous caramel apples, fudge, dipped fruits, and other premium confections.
- Master the Craft: Follow recipes and safety standards with precision while using professional kitchen equipment.
- Handle with Care: Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain the Vibe: Keep the shop clean, fully stocked, and organized to ensure a premium guest experience.
- Look the Part: Follow company dress code and hygiene standards to represent the brand professionally.
- Bring the Energy: Show up on time with a reliable, punctual, and positive attitude toward the team and our guests.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old (for insurance and equipment purposes).
- Positive Attitude: An outgoing, "people person" personality with a genuine love for customer service.
- Reliable Commute: Must have dependable transportation to and from our Pier Village location.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for your shift, able to climb a ladder for stocking, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Proactive Mindset: Detail-oriented, hardworking, and flexible—you’re ready to jump in and do a little bit of everything!
- Availability: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays—these are our busiest times and offer the best tip potential from the boardwalk crowds!
