Duties
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as loaders, backhoes, cranes, bulldozers, and excavators with precision and safety awareness.
- Manage material handling equipment including roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and concrete mixers to facilitate delivery and placement of materials.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations while operating machinery on-site.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by handling materials using hand tools and hydraulics.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during equipment operation.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials, tools, and machinery efficiently across the site.
Skills
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance, hydraulics systems, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, hydraulics, and material handling equipment for various construction tasks.
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulation compliance, including proper PPE use and adherence to safety regulations on-site.
- Ability to operate loader machines such as loaders, backhoes, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
