Position: Hardscape Crew Member
Location: Rocky Gardens Landscape Group, LLC - Beloit, Ohio
Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Hardscape Crew Member to join our team. This role involves the installation of hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, pavers, outdoor kitchens, and other outdoor structures. Ideal candidates detail-oriented and capable of working in a team-oriented outdoor environment. Masonry experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of hardscape elements including pavers, retaining walls, stonework, and concrete features
• Operate hand tools and power equipment (saws, compactors, skid steers, etc.) safely and effectively
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and layout markings
• Prepare job sites by digging, grading, and compacting soil and base materials
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Follow instructions from the Crew Leader or Foreman
• Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment
• Follow company and safety policies at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hardscaping, construction or landscaping preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
• Valid driver’s license required
• Team-oriented with good communication skills

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Requires bending, lifting, digging, and standing for long periods
• May involve overtime or weekend work depending on project needs
