Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our apartment community in great shape. This role is all about making sure our residents have a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained place to live. You’ll handle day-to-day repairs, stay on top of preventative maintenance, and jump in when issues come up.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform regular inspections of the property, equipment, and systems to catch issues early
- Complete routine maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner
- Keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized and stocked
- Work closely with management and residents to schedule and complete repairs
- Assist with unit turns, upgrades, and renovation projects
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Keep accurate records of work completed
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade certifications are a plus)
- Maintenance experience, ideally in apartments or residential properties
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your time well
- Good communication skills with residents and team members
- Physically able to lift, climb ladders, and use tools as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
