🔹 Summary:
Rockwoods is seeking an experienced **ServiceNow Technical Lead** for a full-time opportunity in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on ServiceNow expertise, CMDB management, platform upgrades, integrations, and coordination with global teams. You will collaborate directly with an onshore client team and lead impactful enterprise-level ServiceNow initiatives.
🔹 **Roles & Responsibilities:**
1. Leadership & Coordination
* Serve as the primary onshore client point of contact
* Coordinate seamlessly with the offshore delivery team
* Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow best practices
2. Technical Expertise
* Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions
* Configure, maintain & optimize CMDB
* Lead platform upgrades, testing & deployments
* Develop custom workflows, automation & integrations
3. CMDB & Discovery
* Oversee Discovery & Service Mapping activities
* Define reconciliation rules, CI classes & data models
* Troubleshoot CMDB issues per ITIL standards
4. Project Management
* Lead ServiceNow implementation/enhancement projects
* Present updates, roadmaps & status to stakeholders
* Manage risks, dependencies, and improvements
5. Stakeholder Management
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Translate business needs into technical solutions
* Provide training to onshore & offshore teams
6. Governance & Compliance
* Maintain CMDB and ServiceNow governance standards
* Ensure alignment with security and compliance guideline.
**Mandatory Skills:**
* 8 years in ServiceNow development & administration
* Strong experience in CMDB, ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping)
* Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server
* Experience in upgrades, integrations, workflows & dashboards
* Leadership experience with onshore/offshore teams
**Preferred Skills:**
* ServiceNow CSA, CIS (CMDB/ITOM)
* Bachelor’s in CS/IT or related field
