What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Rockwood Property Management?
Rockwood Property Management is looking for a Groundskeeper for our Liberty Lake and Spokane locations
Position Responsibilities:
- Conducts daily inspections of all common areas
- Removes trash and visible debris and maintain dog stations
- Janitorial duties as assigned including but not limited to cleaning windows, shining fixtures, sweeping, graffiti removal
- Pressure wash outbuildings and furniture
- Helps oversee contractors to ensure work is performed to standard including janitorial, ground maintenance, and snow removal
- Assists with grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
- Replaces light bulbs in lighting fixtures
- Assists in inventory control and upkeep of all grounds equipment and supplies
- Cleans roof drains of leaves and debris
- Responsible for the installation of signage
- Assists with parking lot patrols and parking lot surveys as needed
- Set up, tear down, and clean-up for events May assist with emergency maintenance
- Assists the maintenance staff as needs arise
- Reports any problems observed on the property to the supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of basic maintenance tools required to perform the job duties
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- High school education and/or technical skills training preferred
- Valid driver's license
