Role Description The Project Consultant is a full-time, on-site role located in Avon, OH. This role is responsible for guiding customers and trade partners through flooring product selection, pricing, and project planning from initial consultation to final delivery. Day-to-day tasks include assessing project requirements, preparing estimates, coordinating orders, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. The Project Consultant will maintain strong relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners, providing product expertise and solutions that align with budget, design, and performance expectations. The role also involves managing project documentation, tracking timelines, and resolving issues to support successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in project consulting, account management, or sales within construction, flooring, or building materials.
- Knowledge of flooring products (tile, hardwood, carpet, rugs) and their applications in residential and commercial environments.
- Strong skills in customer service, relationship building, and communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret basic plans, measurements, and specifications for estimating and product recommendations.
