Rockwell Security is looking for outgoing, energetic, confident individuals who aren't afraid to get involved, stay active, and interact with people throughout their shift.
You'll be working in an environment with children and teenagers, so patience, personality, and a thick skin are a MUST!
Let's face it. Kids will be kids. Some will be respectful, some will test boundaries, and some will challenge your patience. We need officers who can handle all three!
We're looking for someone who can give directions, maintain order, handle a little attitude, and still greet the next person with a smile.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Actively patrol outdoor areas while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Interact regularly with children, teenagers, visitors, and staff.
- Help maintain order, encourage appropriate behavior, and enforce site rules.
- Address disruptive, disrespectful, or challenging behavior calmly and professionally.
- Give clear, confident directions and know when to be firm.
- Monitor for safety concerns, suspicious activity, and potential hazards.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and management.
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Stay on your feet, stay alert, and stay engaged throughout your shift.

REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS):
- Must pass a drug test, including marijuana.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work outdoors and remain physically active throughout the shift.
- Must be comfortable working around children and teenagers.
- Must be able to handle verbal disrespect and challenging behavior without losing composure.
- Must follow company policies regarding personal phone use while on duty.
- Prior security experience preferred, but a great attitude, strong communication skills, and the right personality are important!
