Role Description
We are seeking a part-time to start or full-time Interior Designer to join our team on-site at our Solana Beach, CA location. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing designs of interior spaces. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, creating detailed construction drawings, selecting FF&E components, collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. This role entails actively participating in client consultations and presenting design concepts to align with their vision. We are looking for someone with strong skills in conceptual design of unique, highly detailed luxury residential homes, love sourcing high quality FF E and high style furnishings. Ideal candidate has experience in high-end residential or boutique hospitality design.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Space Planning, Interior Design, Interior Architecture
- Knowledge of Architecture Construction and ability to work collaboratively with architects, builders and trades
- Proficiency in creating Construction Drawings and design documentation
- Experience in Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) selection and specification
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client presentation abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience in high-end residential or hospitality design is preferred/a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
