Rockwall's Gem MD is a Direct Primary Care medical office in Rockwall, TX seeking part-time Medical Assistant, 8:00am to 12:00pm Monday through Friday. Position will start as soon as possible. Serious inquiries only.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Rockwall, TX. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for tasks such as preparing patients for examinations, assisting with medical procedures, managing medical records, maintaining cleanliness and organization in medical offices, and ensuring seamless patient care processes. They will also immunize children and adults, document immunizations in ImmTrac, and prepare
labs (blood, urine) to be transported to the lab. They will also provide patient support and respond to inquiries to ensure a high standard of service and care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including patient preparation and administrative support
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively communicate and document patient care
- Experience working in a Medical Office or clinical environment
- Skills in Patient Care and understanding patient needs
- Familiarity with managing Medical Records and ensuring accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions
- Relevant certification or training in medical assisting is preferred
- Phlebotomy
- IV's

- Reliable transportation
- Immunizations
