RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse

Rockville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is searching for a Wound Nurse / RN Supervisor to join our team.

RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse Duties Include:

• Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
• Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
• Responsible for oversight of the facility and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain nursing guidelines are appropriate.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to residents, families, and employees.
• Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods.
• Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy.
• Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents.

RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license
• Active CPR Certificate
• Point Click a Plus
• Wound care certification desired
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in LTC is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and a team player

Salary Range: Up to $125,000
