Concrete Plant Technician

Rockville Fuel & Feed Co., Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Plant Maintenance Technician to support operations across our five concrete plant locations and office facilities. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy mechanical work and are eager to expand their skills in trades such as welding, mechanical repair, electrical systems, and plumbing.

You will work closely with plant management to perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and operational.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and labor tasks at concrete plants and office sites.
• Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance including oil changes and greasing of plant equipment.
• Keep plant areas clean and free of aggregate buildup or debris.
• Support plant managers by identifying areas that need attention or repair.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Occasionally assist in welding, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical tasks .
• Be available to work some weekends as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and over while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail

Knowledge of welding, mechanical, plumbing, electric a plus, but not required. Heavy equipment operation a plus.

ACI Level 1 Certification/SHA concrete plant technician certification a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.30 per hour
