Ferrari Specialist – Private Collection & Restoration Shop
Location: Bethel, Connecticut
We are looking for an experienced Ferrari Specialist as well as a Mercedes Specialist to join a unique and growing operation focused on some of the most desirable classic and exotic automobiles in the world. This position is primarily working on a private collection that includes a large number of vintage Ferraris, along with other significant European classics and exotics.
The owner is a passionate collector and racer who currently fields a team in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. While maintaining and preserving his private collection remains a major focus, he is also in the process of launching a premium restoration and classic car facility and is building a team of highly skilled specialists to support that vision.
This is an opportunity to work on exceptional vehicles without the pressures of a traditional dealership or production repair environment. You will have the time, resources, and support needed to perform work properly and to the highest standards.
We are seeking technicians with extensive Ferrari or Mercedes experience, particularly with vintage and classic models. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, experience performing engine, drivetrain, suspension, brake, and electrical repairs, and a deep understanding of the craftsmanship required when working on collectible vehicles. Restoration experience is highly desirable, as is experience sourcing rare components and solving complex mechanical challenges.
The owner understands how rare these skills are and is prepared to compensate accordingly. This position offers a guaranteed salary, not flat rate, with a starting compensation package in the $100,000-$150,000 per year range depending on experience, with significant room for growth as the restoration operation continues to expand.
