Yard Technician / Parts Driver
Pay Range: $25–$30/hour
We’re looking for a hardworking and dependable Yard Technician / Parts Driver to join our team. This role is primarily focused on yard maintenance and equipment care (80%), with some parts delivery responsibilities (20%) to support our operations.
If you enjoy working with your hands, operating equipment, and helping a team stay organized and efficient, this is a great opportunity to grow in the equipment rental industry. Many of our team members have advanced into roles such as Mechanic, Driver, Sales & Operations Coordinator, and ProSales Associate.
What You’ll Do
Yard Technician Duties (80%)
- Organize, clean, and maintain the yard, shop, and equipment areas.
- Wash and perform light maintenance on heavy and construction equipment.
- Inspect rental equipment for safety and readiness before it goes out.
- Assist in loading and unloading machinery for drivers, customers, and outside haulers.
- Stage orders and prepare equipment for delivery or pickup.
- Support technicians and operations staff with daily yard tasks.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and customer-ready work environment.
Parts Delivery Duties (20%)
- Pick up and deliver parts promptly and accurately between suppliers, warehouses, and customer sites.
- Handle parts with care and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during every interaction.

What You Bring
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work safely in outdoor conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
- English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
