Master Automotive Mechanic

We’re hiring a Master Automotive Mechanic (Michigan Certified) to work on a mixed fleet that includes:
- Passenger vehicles
- Salt trucks
- Street sweepers
- Fire trucks
- Diesel trucks
- Construction equipment
This is a great fit for an automotive mechanic looking to break into heavy equipment and diesel work. If you know your way around diagnostics, engines, brakes, and electrical systems, the rest can be taught.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair gas & diesel engines
- Work on transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulics
- Repair electrical systems and perform diagnostics
- Handle preventative maintenance and inspections
- Work on plows, sweepers, heavy trucks, and equipment
- Perform welding/fabrication work when needed
- Occasional field service calls
No two days are the same. You’ll work on everything from pickups to heavy equipment.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tons of overtime available
- OT is optional — not forced

What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of mechanic experience
- Strong automotive repair background
- Michigan State Master Automotive Mechanic certification
- CDL A preferred (or ability to obtain after hire)
- Experience with diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- Someone dependable who can work independently
