The Rockport Public Schools is seeking a highly-skilled, dynamic middle high school special education teacher long term substitute who possesses superior content knowledge, effective pedagogical skills, excellent communication skills, an enthusiasm for learning, and the desire to maximize the learning potential of all students. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison and a key member of their students' special education Teams; and provide direct services in a variety of settings such as co-taught, inclusion, and small group. The successful candidate will demonstrate the desire and ability to collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusionary culture that allows each member of our learning community to feel a sense of belonging that is grounded in social emotional safety, impactful relationships, and personalized growth.
