Job Title: Compliance Manager
Location: Glendale, CA (some travel required within CA)
Reports to: Chief Compliance Officer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to support and enhance our established compliance program within a skilled nursing management organization. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare compliance professional who has worked within a structured, well-developed compliance department (hospital, health system, or managed care setting) and is looking to apply that experience in a post-acute environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation and ongoing evaluation of the organization’s compliance program across multiple skilled nursing facilities
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, monitoring, and auditing activities
• Assist with policy development, updates, and operationalization
• Lead and support investigations, including documentation and corrective action planning
• Partner with operations, clinical leadership, HR, and finance to promote a culture of compliance
• Track and analyze compliance metrics and trends; prepare reports for leadership
• Support training and education initiatives to ensure regulatory awareness across the organization
• Assist with regulatory inquiries, audits, and external reviews as needed
Qualifications:
• 5 years of healthcare compliance experience within an organized compliance department (hospital, health system, or managed care preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments
• Excellent written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with executive leadership
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or compliance certification (e.g., CHC) preferred
• experience working through a corporate integrity agreement
